Frontier Town Pony Rides

Hooray for pony rides!

Frontier Town will again be bringing their adorable ponies for this years Farm Day.  Come meet the cowboys and take a ride! Great photo opportunity.

Upper Room Studio

Yes! We will be there with many wonderful hand-dyed fibers and yarns, spinning wheels, Lantern Moon knitting needles, handmade stitch markers, spinning wheels, looms, needle felting kits, grain grinders, wet felting kits, berkey water filters and so much more! ;-)

Blacksmithing

Mark Williams of Williams Iron will be coming to do blacksmithing demos during this years Farm Day. He is a great teacher and loves to explain the process. He does many demos including working the forge at Snow Hill's Furnace Town. Mark Williams started blacksmithing because he inherited some tools from his wife's great-grandfather, who was a blacksmith. He got hooked! First, it was therapy for frustrations in research and teaching [Mark earned a PhD in physics.] . Then it became the joy of creation/design and the challenge of causing the design to come to life. Mark demonstrates at various fairs and festivals on Delmarva. He works out of a shop behind his house in Snow Hill, MD. His ironwork runs from any kind of hook, to puzzles, house hardware, cooking utensils and much more! Make sure you stop by his booth!
